Treadmills are our most popular product, the apple of our eye, specially when it comes to hiring fitness equipment.  It’s no secret that the treadmill is the go-to machine for people trying to lose weight, although it is very used for people with mobility issues wanting to get some exercise in or recover from injuries. It’s a well rounded, safe machine, and it is very convenient to have one in your own home. If you only want it for a certain period of time, or want to test one out before purchasing it, or simply don’t want to commit to buying one, then hiring it is the perfect solution for you.

When will you deliver the treadmill?

We are based in Edinburgh, therefore deliveries in the Motherwell area are relatively quick, depending on whether the treadmill you chose is in stock. Delivery is usually 5-7 business days. If the treadmill is not in stock, it will take a few more business days as we will need to purchase it from our supplier. Unfortunately we do not work weekends. Some evenings can be OK though depends how the engineers/installers are getting on.

Is there a delivery and collection charge for hiring fitness equipment in Motherwell?

No, there is no charge.

What if I wanted the installation of the treadmill upstairs?

No problem. Two men will carry out the installation and therefore having it upstairs shouldn’t be a problem. Installs are generally, garage, ground floor or first floor.

What if I accidentally damage the treadmill?

Chandler Sports insurance covers all types of accidents. However we would like to suggest that you keep the treadmill safe and out of reach from children. Damage is uncommon which is surprising but we do encourage a small fee from yourselves if this happens. We replace broken parts and components making sure that the treadmill is fit for use for its next hire period.

Can I extend my hire and how do I do that?

Of course. You can extend the use of our treadmills at the end of its hire. You can phone or email the office on 01968672020 or service@chandlersports.co.uk with your hire price per week amount.

I want to buy this treadmill how much do I have to pay?

You will receive 33% of the total hire period off  the sale or RRP (recommend Retail Price) price. Including delivery and installation charges. Example: A treadmills RRP is £799.00 and the hire period was £100.00 you would receive £33.00 off the £799.00 therefore paying a total price of £766.00 for your new treadmill. Same formula for ex-hired treadmills.

Do I get a warranty on a purchased treadmill after hiring it?

Absolutely. The manufacturer gives a warranty to you in full. Treadmill warranties are around 2 years parts and labour.

Will the treadmill come clean and serviced?

Yes, all of our treadmills return to Chandler Sports unit for a full inspection. The engineers will remove components to inspect wear and tear, any damage or make any adjustments. They will spray, wipe and clean, including materials used to lubricate and protect cosmetics. When the treadmills are lifted into the vans, and the installation and delivery at your address, there could be every chance a few scratches may become visible. It is very difficult to preserve products from work related procedures. We do our best to minimise this.
