The Dakota in Edinburgh is a unique boutique 5 star luxury hotel foundered by Ian McCulloch in 2006.
Two hotels were built, one in Glasgow 2006 and the other in South Queensferry Edinburgh in 2007. The concept of these hotels was based on the commercial airliner “DC-3” which began service in the United States in 1936. The “DC-3” offered stylish service and cabin accommodation at an affordable price, flying across North America and aboard. The interior design of the “DC-3” Ian took advantage of and used them to develop and build the hotel Dakota’s throughout Scotland.
Chandler Sports was contacted by facilities manager John Alexander from the Edinburgh Dakota Hotel in order to provide servicing and maintenance of the fitness equipment. John and representative from Chandler Sports Kurt Verhoeven discussed contract options which best suited the hotel’s needs. Finalising various aspects of the contract Dakota Hotel signed to the Bronze agreement. Benefits of this agreement include insurances, servicing reports, certificates and peace of mind.
Thanking Mr Alexander for their business and giving Chandler Sports another great opportunity to add to their portfolio.
